At TSK, we are constantly juggling several social media accounts at once. Thankfully, web developers have created a slew of applications to maximize the social media experience across all platforms. Here are 10 of the most effective and time-saving tools that we are currently using on the reg. We also included our favorite home office inspiration snaps from Studded Hearts for your viewing pleasure… because what’s social media without a dope office to work from?

If you are a small business like TSK, then you understand how stressful it can be to manage all your social media platforms on a daily basis, especially if you don’t have a lot of hands on deck. HootSuite is a social media dashboard that allows you to schedule and publish messages to multiple social networks, monitor and filter conversations and track results. It is the biggest time saver we’ve ever used and also makes communication amongst your team a breeze.

With so much content being created and posted online every minute, it can sometimes be overwhelming when trying to decide what news is relevant to your brand. Crowd Tangle is the easiest way to keep track of what is happening (and trending) on social media. The service allows you to track as many social accounts as you want across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Vine. From competitors to partners to influencers, you can track and view what news they are sharing in real time and how those post are performing.

starsbit.ly

Have you ever copied and pasted your URL into a Facebook post and realized that the link alone takes up over four lines? Enter bit.ly, a service that shortens URLs. In addition to shortening, bit.ly offers an analytics and tracking service that allows you to easily see how many times a link in a FB post, tweet, IG bio, etc. has been clicked as well as what network the link was accessed from. Recently bit.ly introduced customized shorten links so instead of having the word “bit.ly” in your URL, your own brand name would appear.

lockMail Chimp

E-newsletters are a vital part to any social media marketing plan. MailChimp is a simple email marketing software (EMS) which gives you a number of easy options for designing, sending and saving templates of your emails. The software allows you to easily create various newsletters and then provides simple options for sharing them on social networks, making it your own personal platform for publishing your newsletter.

discoPablo 2.0

If you want your content to look on point no matter where your customer is looking, use Pablo. Pablo 2.0, created by Buffer, is the simplest way to create beautiful images that fit every social network perfectly. Originally only available for Twitter, the new version of Pablo allows you to work with all social media networks, so now you can create images with the perfect size and format for Facebook, Instagram, and even Pinterest.

If you post on Instagram, then what should you do? IFTTT gives you creative control over the products and apps you love through ‘recipes.’ Recipes are simple connections between products and apps. There are two types of recipes: DO Recipes and IF Recipes.

-DO Recipes run with just a tap and enable you to create your own personalized Button, Camera, and Notepad.

-IF Recipes run automatically in the background. Create powerful connections with one simple statement — if this then that.

atomSocial Mention

Think of social mention as the Google search of social media: it aggregates user generated content from across social platforms into a single stream. With this tool, it is very easy to track and measure what people are saying about you, your brand or even a specific product in the social media world in real-time. Because Social Mention monitors over 100 social media platforms, we are confident that your search results will be thorough.
